Ver Shady Sales Practices

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I too was about to purchase a vehicle from them and I kept getting the run around on the inspector coming to look at the car. Steve kept telling me there was no need for an inspection the car was going to be exactly what he said it was.

Then since I was adamant about the inspection he told me a guy from California was going to buy it without and inspection. I told him all we had to do was the inspection and we could close the deal. he said he didnt have 3 hours for a guy to come out and do a inspection.

Very Shady. Be very Careful

This is a review from a person that NEVER purchased a car from us. He said that we hurt his feelings that is the reason for a one star review .

This individual was informed that we had a deposit on this vehicle and that it was tentatively sold. He kept on unreasonably insisting that we have the car inspected on his behalf although it was sold to another customer. The car became available weeks later since the previous customers financing had fallen through so this is why we had told his friend (who clearly had zero intention on buying and wasting our time playing games by contacting us just to prove a point for this individual) that it was available for sale again. We were kind and courteous in all phone interactions with him and were actually trying to save him money on an unnecessary inspection.

We also tried helping him by giving him our finance companies information of which he received financing through. This is the way he repays us. This individual clearly could not been made happy regardless. If we had the car inspected and the other customer would have purchased we would be in the same situation with him unhappy and leaving reviews of this nature.

Bottom line there are some people that will complain about anything and If you are a business owner wish to NOT deal with people like this. Sellers Beware pray that he doesn’t walk into your establishment and you have to do business with him. We have zero issues with having any of our cars inspected and actually encourage prospective buyers to do so.

We try and thoroughly describe our vehicles and are always more than willing to answer any and all pre-purchase questions so our customers are informed on what they are buying. The car was eventually sold to an appreciating/reasonable customer that is enjoying it thoroughly!

Classic AutoHaus - 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible Review

Quick update. After visiting the dealership and seeing all their nice cars my husband was indecisive on which car he wanted but he finally made up his mind and we ended up purchasing a little 1965 Mustang Convertible that we are more than pleased with. The overall experience was top notch and easy. We made payment arrangements with Steve at the dealership and bank wired the funds since he told us the car could possibly be shipped within a couple days of payment and sure enough we received it at our winter home in sunny Florida three days later. Couldn't be happier with our purchase and most importantly my wonderful husband is happy. Thank you Steve and Classic Auto Haus for the wonderful experience. Kathy and Earnest Christenson

Classic AutoHaus - Review in Dealers category

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Husband and I were looking for an ole Mustang and this dealer had a few ones in stock that caught hubbies eye. Hes an old hot rodder and been around these cars his whole life and knows old cars so we decided to stop in after visiting our daughter in Illinois which was a 2 hour drive in from Wisconsin. Met a very nice gentlemen who was informative and seemed to be sincere and honest about the cars he showed us and there was no pressure at all to buy. We didnt purchase a car that day since hubby couldn't make up his mind but they had some darn nice cars here and will probably eventually buy one from them. Funny enough we told our son in law about them and he ended up buying a Camaro from here. Nice experience and goes to show you can't always believe what you read online. Also the to the previous reviewer nice plug to the other dealership we were wondering since after reading your post you can clearly tell you never bought a car from them so you must work for the other dealership husband and I are guessing? I'm a retired business owner myself and pretty sad that one would have to stoop so low as to try and exploit their competition by making up stories but guess this is what the internet world is nowadays . To the contrary we would recommend this place to our friends or anyone else from our personal experience.

Classic Auto Haus - Geneva IL / Terrible car buying experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The dealership Classic Auto Haus in Geneva IL is a shady used car dealership. They use unethical techniques to sell their cars which upon closer inspection need a ton of work. I highly recommend not buying a car through them and I will never even consider buying a car through this dealership. Dishonest, unethical, and willing to say anything to make a sale is how I would describe this business. In fact, out of all the times I've had to purchase a car this would rank as the very worst. I found that a better alternative would be Gateway Classic Cars which has dealerships across the country. Buy from someone reputable!

“The Consumer Review Fairness Act—voids any provision in a form contract that prohibits or restricts customers from posting reviews about the goods, services, or conduct of the company providing the product or service.
